Re-created Look: GlitterGirlc :D

Today, I decided to do a re-created look. I was just looking around my favorite blogs, and decided to do a look of Cecilie’s from GlitterGirlc.com! I re-created her look called AcidBerry using the SugarPill Heart Breaker Palette. Since I don’t have the palette (or the amazing skills) for this look, the colors didn’t come out great. 😛 (I also accidentally smudged the liquid liner in the middle of the line, but I guess that’s just all part of makeup artistry, right? 😀 ) The look:

I hope you visit Cecilie’s AMAZING blog, (I would make a link to her blog, but I’m not sure how to do that yet) 🙂 and I hoped you liked this colorful look! <Lucy 😀

Ps. If anyone knows little helpful things about WordPress, (like making links) please let me know, because I am absolutely terrible with computers! Thanks! <Lu 😀

Dramatic Falsies!

Hi lovelies! Today, I don’t have a tutorial, but I have a look that I actually liked! I’ve always been sort of afraid of false eyelashes, but I did this dramatic look, and thought I just might try some out. I’ve been watching how to put on falsies videos-my favorite one, and the most helpful, was one by Cecilie from GlitterGirlc.com-and I put the lashes on, and was actually satisfied!

Is Makeup Fun…An Experiment from Karri Bowen

I would like to share here about a challenge from Karri Bowen.com. Remember when you used to watch your mom put on her makeup everyday, fascinated by all of the pots and palettes full of color and textures? I remember sneaking into my moms vanity to paint my nails, and look at all of her makeup. (She even got me and my siblings, including my brother, when we were little, painting our nails, and whispering on camera! Little did we know that our mom was right there, with the video camera.) ^-^ Today, everything is much different with your beauty. You use makeup everyday, as a must, and part of your routine. Even though I’m don’t even wear makeup outside the house most of the time, I still understand that women are busy, too busy with their lives and jobs, and families to make time to play with makeup, especially with someone. Well, just think about how you used to sneak into mom’s drawers, and stick your fingers in the pots, and then rubbing whatever it was on your face. Think about the happiness coming from just putting tons of color on your face. 😉 This challenge is for you to go grab your daughters, if you have them, and take out all of your makeup, letting them touch everything, and just to experiment, and just to be a little girl. And of course, this challenge is for you too! Play with that crazy blue eyeshadow  that was sitting at the bottom of your drawer, untouched. Put on the neon pink lipstick you never dreamed of wearing in public. 😉 Just be a little girl again, and have fun with all of the makeup you haven’t worn in ages! If you don’t have daughters, this challenge can still be done! Take your best friend, or just be by yourself, and explore all of the makeup that you forgot was there!

Enjoy this challenge, and just HAVE FUN WITH YOUR MAKEUP!

A Different Cleopatra!

The shape of this fun and crazy look is inspired by Cleopatra, but the colors are not your usual classic Cleo black liner and bold colors! 🙂 Instead, I used more Spring time colors, like rose, peach, and green. I also added a picture tutorial!

The tutorial:

Image

Elf Primer in Alabaster.

Image

Next, take a peach eyeshadow from the Elf 100 Color Palette with the Mary Kay Eye Blending Brush.

Image

Put the color all over the upper lid and browbone.

Image

Next, take the 2nd on eyeshadow down in the 2nd row of the 1st layer 😛 from the Sephora Limited Ed. Makeup Kit. Pick the shadow up using the IL MAKIAGE Fluff Brush.

Image

Put the magenta shadow on the lid, and a bit in the crease.

Image

Then, pick up the dark green shadow from the Maybelline Eyeshadow Duo in Irish Mist with the Mary Kay Angled Eye Brush.

Image

Line the upper lashline, going thicker on the outer part.

Image

Take the line straight off of the lashline, making a wing.

Image

Then, follow the undereye line with the shadow, and end it with a point on the inner corner.

Image

Next, darken the shadow by mixing some of it with water.

Image

Next, take the Shany Limited Ed. Makeup Kit, and take one of the shimmery olive greens with the IL MAKIAGE 6W Brush.

Image

Put it on the outer corners, inside the line on the undereye.

Image

Then, using the same brush, put some of the magenta shadow that we used earlier on the middle space.

Image

Then, fill in the water line the same way.

Image

Take a fluffy domed brush, and pick up a shimmery light green from the Shany Kit.

Image

The finished product! 😀

I hope you liked this crazy look! Have a great day!<Lucy
