LOTD: Dramatic Arabic Cat-Eye Makeup!

Hey lovelies! 😀 Today’s face is something really dramatic, and almost un-wearable, but I think that if your bold enough you could wear it to a party or for a night out. I wasn’t super happy on how it turned out, but hey not every look does. 😉 Also, this look is not for the faint-hearted, or the beginning artist. You will need skills with eyeliner to make this look great! Here it is then:

All I used was: a black pencil eyeliner, a duo-chrome blue/brown eyeshadow, and a matte brow bone highlight. (and black mascara). SIMPLE! 😀 Hope you liked this one!

LOTD: Glamorous Work Look

Hey lovelies! 😀 Today’s look is a super-easy, and quick reddish-brown look for work! I love how it turned out, and I’m excited to share, so here it is:

I used Sephora, Inglot, and MAC products for the look.

Even though this look seems like it should take a long time to do in the morning, it only takes 5-10 minutes to achieve on weekday mornings, or whenever you do your makeup before work. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this look for work!!! 😀 (If you want to see a tutorial, let me know)! Later!-Lucy 😀

Michele: If you had to describe your style in one word, what word would you choose and why?

Lucy: Variety. Everyday, I wear something a little different. I find that if I don’t, I’ll get a little board. 😉

Michele: If you could trade places with any person in the world for just one day, who would it be?

Lucy: Maybe a famous makeup artist like Bobbi Brown, just to see how much fun, or how hectic the job could be. 🙂

Michele: What is your dream job?

Lucy: There are a few different ones I have in mind: Makeup Artist, Singer, or/and an Actress.

Michele: Who was your first celebrity crush?

Lucy: Hmm..Even though I keep myself up-dated with who’s-who, I didn’t really every have a celeb crush… 😀 (although, I will have to say, at one point I was a little obsessed with 1D) haha 😉

Michele: If you got to plan your dream vacation, where would you go?

Lucy: I would either say France or Italy. France just seems like a fabulous place, very elegant. 🙂 Italy is where half of my family is from, so that would be very interesting to vacation there.

Michele: What is your favorite trend right now?

Lucy: Neon colors. I’ve always liked them, and how they say ‘look at me, I’m making a statement!’ 😀

Michele: What is your favorite song at the moment?

Lucy: ‘When I Was You’re Man’ by Bruno Mars. I love to sing it everywhere. I also love the songs from Wicked, the Broadway show; I love singing the part of Glinda, while my sister sings Elphaba. 😀

Michele: What is your go to beauty item that you couldn’t live without?

Lucy: Haha, well you might have noticed, that I’m kind of in love with all makeup, and couldn’t possibly choose one, but if my life depended on it, I would choose Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara in Blackest Black. On a day were I don’t want to wear eyeshadow, lip color, or fill in my brows, Mascara is definently the product that can make the face look simply made-up.

Michele: What is something you’d like to do before you die?

Lucy: I would say, be either in a movie or a Broadway Musical. Those things could probably come true anyway, so I’m not worried about not being able to achieve those goals. 😉

Michele: If you could travel back in time and live in any decade, which would you choose?

Lucy: Maybe the Victorian age. Where you would get to wear dresses and fancy makeup each day! (I guess I might get tired of it, but it sounds fun now)! ;D

~Sephora duo-sheen blue eyeshadow (lid, outer half of lower lashline) note: this eyeshadow is very hard to work with…I had trouble trying to make the color bright, but blended to keep the look looking dreamy. I eventually got it to work fine, its just a warning. 🙂

~Sephora pearly top-coat eyeshadow (inner tearduct)

~Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara in Blackest Black

Lips:

~Clinique Lipstick in Raspberry Glace

~Aeropostale Lip Crayon in Pineapple (its orange 🙂 I put a dab of it on the center of the lower lip).

LOTD: Purple Smokey Eyes

Hey lovely blog readers! Today’s look is a glamorous purple smokey eye for a night out on the town, or the weekend. I was so so happy with how it turned out. 😀 I really hope you like it as much as I did!

(These pretty dangle earrings are from a boutique I was at, and I think that they match and bring out the purple on the eyes nicely. 🙂

~Sephora duo-sheen magenta eyeshadow (in crease, and above, to blend)

~Sephora matte black eyeshadow (outer crease, outer undereye)

~Sephora matte cool beige eyeshadow (brow bone highlight, line cleaner)

(I used Scotch tape to make the line more precise on the outer eye with the black).

~Sephora pearly-white Top Coat Eyeshadow (inner tear duct)

~MM Black Pencil Eyeliner (very thin, smudged lines on upper and lower lashlines)

Haul: Maybelline Color Tattoo Products!

Hey! Today I have a haul for you! I finally finished collecting all of the Maybelline Color Tattoos, and I also purchased some more Color Tattoo Pigments. 🙂 

 

The last color tattoo I needed to complete the collection! Bad To The Bronze.

 

I got 3 more of these: Potent Purple (shimmer) Wild Gold (shimmer/sparkle) Black Mystery (GORGEOUS teal sparkles in it).

Without a primer. 🙂

Waterproof Makeup!

Hey hey hey! Today, I have a natural, everyday look for the days where you’d like to go swimming. I know summer is almost over (I should have done something like this earlier) 🙂 but I am still swimming as much as I can before I can’t at all-without freezing my legs off, that is. 😉

These are all of the products I used:

 

I just brushed up my brows with this Elf Spooley Brush.

 

For eyeshadow, I love using the Maybelline Color Tattoos, because they are waterproof, and there are many different color choices. I lightly defined my eyes with a Color Tattoo in Bad To The Bronze. (Review coming soon!) 😀

 

For mascara, an AMAZING one is the Great Lash Waterproof by Maybelline. I used Great Lash Mascara in Dark Brown.

 

On the lips, I would recommend just a clear lip gloss, because, if they slide of, there won’t be color streaks. This one is a clear, sparkly gloss by Donna Michelle. 

 

For blush, I would recommend cream blush; powders, liquids, and mousses will leave streaks. Something light and pink like this Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Pink Frosting, will give you a natural colored glow.

LOTD: Wearable Rose Eyes :)

Today’s look is something using rose eyeshadows, but the look is still very wearable. 🙂 I really liked how it turned out! ^_^ You could easily wear this look for: Valentine’s Day, a date, or even just for an everyday look! 🙂

This flower is one of my favorites! 😀 Its from Claire’s. The earrings are from Walmart. I think the little studs of a golden brown complemented my eye makeup very well.

Haul: Maybelline Color Tattoo Products!

Hey lovelies! Today I have yet another haul; more Color Tattoo products. 🙂 I now have all of the Maybelline Color Tattoos, except one, which wasn’t in stock when I went to Target. I have been wanting to try out the brand new pigment line called Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigments, so I bought a blue one to see how I liked them.

 

Color Tattoos: Metals: Silver Strike, and Electric Blue. Originals: Bold Gold, and Tough As Taupe. Favorite one: Tough As Taupe. 🙂 Why: Its pure matte, smoother than some of the others, and such a beautiful color! 😀

 

Here is the pigment swatch. I was very happy with it: Very colorful, smooth, and super long-wearing! The color is Brash Blue. The pigment was $5.99, and the Color Tattoos were $5.94 (I got 2 of them half-off though! Yay)! 😀 ^-^
