LOTD: Natural Rose Smokey Eyes (Naked 3)

Hi Crazies!

Today’s look is a understated and natural smokey eye using the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. That and the electric palette have been my most-used palettes lately, I’m loving them both so much! 😀 So; this look I think is SUPER gorgeous, and great for when you want to have a neutral colored smokey eye, but have a twist to it. The twist is the rose undertones. It adds femininity to the look, and I love how it turned out! This look is definitely also appropriate for everyday wear. 😉

Naked 3 Palette, and Electric Palette: Wearable Eye Makeup!

Hi Crazies! 😀

I hope you all have been having a great week so far! I’m sorry for not posting for a bit, I know I’ve been doing a bad job of keeping up with posting…I’ve been busy. (excuses, excuses). 😉 :p

So my last post, an Urban Decay Palette haul, I bought the UD Naked 3 and the UD Electric Palette, and I got a couple requests to do a look using the Naked 3 Palette with a few pops of color using the Electric palette. I think that’s a great idea, because some people say that they are intimidated by the Electric palette because its all bright and no neutrals. Well, the Electric palette is really great to add a funky pop of color to an everyday look, to jazz things up a bit. That’s why I love it. Because I LOVE adding little pops of color to neutral looks! And of course you can go all out using a bunch of the colors from the palette. 😀 (Colorful and crazy looks coming soon)!! 😀

Without further ado, here is the look I created:

 

So..I used the matte light rose, Limit, on the lid, and Factory (which is amazingly gorgeous) in the crease, along with a little of  Darkside in the crease too. For the pops of color, I used Revolt, the bright silver on the inner corner, and Jilted, a GORGEOUS rich and potent magenta on the inner lower lash line. And for eyeliner, I used an black shimmer pencil from Elf.

Urban Decay Haul!!!!! (Palettes)!

I have a super exciting haul and quick review to show you! 😀

I FINALLY bought the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, and the Urban Decay Electric Palette. I’m SO excited!

So lets jump right in:

(I signed up for a Sephora Membership while I was there, and with that, they gave me a sample of Benefit They’re Real Mascara! Don’t you just love Sephora)?

The UD Naked 3 Palette. And it comes with 4 sample pods of all the different Primer Potions. Each pod will last you a week’s worth of primer!

These eye shadows are absolutely beautiful. And the brush that comes with the palette is amazing!!! I don’t think the brushes get all of the attention they deserve. UD makes my favorite brushes.

And another thing I LOVE about Urban Decay? Their eye shadow names! They are so much fun to read!

LOTD: Purple Flame

Hi Crazies! 😀

Today’s makeup look is dramatic and fun! (again) 😉 I used purple, orange, coral, black, and a touch of MAC Teal Reflects for a glittery effect. I really loved how this turned out! I know, it’s really dramatic, but there are definitely things you can take out to tone down the look. Like some of the black eye shadow or the glitter. Originally, I was going to do a nude lip…ya, that happened…NOT! I went for deep glossy red lips….I know, me and the waay too dramatic pairings. sheesh.

Aaaanyway!

For this look, I used mostly eye shadows from Sephora. (and the lip color is from Sephora too).

LOTD: Pastel Sunset

Hi lovelies! 😀

I’m sorry for not keeping up with my posting everyday. 😛 I’m going to do better, I promise! I have a LOT of exciting makeup looks and hauls to share!! 😉

Aaaaanyway: Today’s look! It’s something fun and dramatic, and I loved how it turned out! I used light pastel shades, and the colors remind me o f a sunset. I hope you enjoy it as well. 😀

LOTD: Fire-Breather

Today’s look is funky, dramatic, and makes a big statement! I did a smokey crease, matte deep red lid, and a glitter gold and silver under-eye with some winged black eyeliner. Despite how weird this look sounds, I actually really really like it, and how it turned out. I hope you like it too!

LOTD: Rita Ora Inspired Look!

Hi Crazies! 😀

Today’s look is one loosely inspired by one that Rita Ora wore. I really liked the soft smokey eyes with the winged liner, and I’m obsessed with this bright orange lip! 😀 I say that this look is only loosely based on Rita Ora’s look, because I changed a few things as I went along. I did a few things differently to adjust the look to my liking. I changed up the winged eyeliner, the undertones of the eye shadows, and changed the red-orange lip from matte to glossy. I hope you enjoy!

Notice I edited my eyes to a brown shade. I didn’t want to edit them as dark as Rita’s so I went with the same red-toned brown shade, but much lighter.
