Here is my last look until April! 😦 Hope you like.
Alrighty loves! I will not be posting tomorrow, nor at all until April. 😦
Much love and hugs, Lucy ❤
Hello lovelies! 😀 This look I created having a simple, chic date-night/night-out look in mind. I ope you like it! I used Shany cosmetics and Makeup Geek:
I did the eyeliner a little droopy, but oh well… 😉
I hope you liked the look! 😀 Oh, yes and my Audition went great! The Call-Back sheet should come out soon. I’ll let you know if I get a call back! 😀
Much love, Lucy ❤
Hey lovelies! 😀 Today’s face is something really dramatic, and almost un-wearable, but I think that if your bold enough you could wear it to a party or for a night out. I wasn’t super happy on how it turned out, but hey not every look does. 😉 Also, this look is not for the faint-hearted, or the beginning artist. You will need skills with eyeliner to make this look great! Here it is then:
All I used was: a black pencil eyeliner, a duo-chrome blue/brown eyeshadow, and a matte brow bone highlight. (and black mascara). SIMPLE! 😀 Hope you liked this one!
Next post: SURPRISE POST (so stay tuned) 😉
Hey hey hey! Today’s look is something fun and colorful, but still wearable. 😉 I was happy on how the look turned out! Hope you like! 😀

Next Post: I’m not sure yet….lol ^_^
Hello everyone! Today, I have a pretty, natural evening look that will be wearable on all eye colors. I used gray, white, a little bit of bronze, and a bright pink lip. I loove the combo of pink lips and gray based eyes! 😀 In the full face pics, you can see I’m VERY sun burnt! 😛 I didn’t make a tutorial, but I mostly used the Sephora Limited Edition Makeup Kit, and the big Shany kit. (And for the bronze, I used NYX Eyeshadow Trio in Guru, the darkest color). 😀 The look:
I was pretty happy with my blending results! 🙂
I hope you like this one! See you Monday! 😀
Monday’s Preview: Dark and Fruity 😀
Hi! Today, as I said yesterday, I have a review on my big ole’ Shany Makeup Kit. Yesterday I said it was Limited Edition, but I just found out that they still carry a slightly different version with the same # of products, but a little bit of different colors and textures. I think I have the 2011 version. I got it from Amazon for $40. Even if the new one is only $25, the value and quality of the older one, the one I own, is better, even if they seem the same. I swatched some of my favorite colors, the lippies, and the blushes. Here is the whole kit:
The whole kit folds up into a carrying case thing! Good size for travel!
The first layer is the powder eyeshadows.
~eyeshadows are all very pigmented
~great color pay-off
~good array of colors
~not enough matte shades (which isn’t a problem for me, because I love shimmer and sparkle, but if you love matte shadows more than shimmer…)
The left side is mostly blues and browns, with a couple grapefruit pinks, and lighter highlighting colors. The greens mostly have some blue in them, making them all look teal. (The blues and the browns are my favorites! They are amazing!) 😀 ❤
A few of my favorites swatched.
Some more on the left side.
The right side is browns, a black, silvers and grays, purple, bronze, gold, dark green, and light colors. (I love the dark greens and reddish-browns!) 😀
By the way, this one eyeshadow is exactly like MAC’s Pigment in Blue Brown, but in eyeshadow form! 😀
Some more on the right.
The next layer is sparkly and shimmery cream eyeshadows.
~good color pay-off
~good array of colors
Left side. Both sides have all different colors!
Right side faves!
The last layer of the left side is where the lip colors are, and where the applicators are. *were* 🙂
There is a light pink, a peach, a bronze-brown, coral, red, and bright red.
~apply evenly and smoothly
~pretty good array of colors: I think they could have switched out the middle red for a hot pink, but other than that, the colors are very nice.
Because of the lighting, the colors didn’t show up as well on my skin. But really, the colors are colorful! 😀
On the last layer of the right side, there are 3 matte blushes, and a mirror.
~nice array of colors
~work nicely for most, if not all, skin colors.
~No shimmer: I guess they could have made 1 of the blushes shimmery. But since I love matte as well, I don’t mind.
Light pink, bright pink, coral. The light pink is my favorite one!
The whole kit, with my hand next to it for sizing….It’s big, but once you fold it up, its small enough for travel.
All of the eyeshadows are completely waterproof! They last in the pool, and the shower. They are easy to take of with makeup remover too. 😀 They also don’t melt at all either. Even on very oily eyelids! 😀 Everything is also scent free, the lip colors last long, and the blushes don’t melt or change colors with wear.
Not so great things:
When I got this kit, there was absolutely no protection on the eyeshadows, both layers, or the lip colors. (Only the blush has cover, the only thing that doesn’t need it! 😛 🙂 ) It had several broken eyeshadows. The 2nd time I ordered it, all of the powder shadows were in perfect shape, but 2 of the cream shadows were broken. They got in all of the lip colors and the cream eyeshadows, and because I din’t want to wait any longer, I just cleaned up everything, the best I could. 😛 That is why the kit is a little bit messy with blue dust! The blushes, of course, were completely fine. 🙂 So if you end up getting this, be warned that there could possibly be broken shadows.
I hope you all liked this review!<Lucy 😀 ❤
*Monday’s Preview: Wearable Slate/Charcoal and Red!
*I usually don’t post on weekends. 🙂
This brown evening look is using all Shany eye shadows, and a Shany blush. I have a big limited edition kit of their’s, and even if I got it months ago, I will post a review on it soon! The look:
I created the look by using a MAC Face Chart. (This was the first time I used one of these, and as you can see I applied a bit too much blush)! ;D
If you close up on the Face Chart, you can see the products I used. I don’t have a tutorial for this one, but if you want one, let me know. (It is pretty easy to create) 😀 As I said above, I will post a review on my Shany Kit soon! 😀 <Lucy ❤
